Admission Requirements

– Age 18 or older

– Obtain your high school diploma by the end of the course

Completion of Course and Certification

-Students must attend mandatory Clinicals, and become familiar with Medical instruments (ie: straight and butterfly needles, vacutainer tubes, blood, Sharps containers, centrifuges, etc.)

– Complete coursework and quizzes with a minimum 70%.

– 40 hours of practical classroom training.

– 100 hours of clinical training.

– 30 successful venipunctures and/or capillary sticks.

– Complete the course final exam with a minimum 90%.

– Complete 3 NPCE Practice Tests with a minimum 90%.

– Pass the National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE)
